Lexo Club is the five-star, five-diamond, twenty-four-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week, at-your-beck-and-call service. Remember Dudley Moore in the 1981 movie Arthur, ringing his quick-witted butler, Hobson? It’s a similar arrangement.

I was at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival on the red carpet, shooting for Metropolitan Magazine Palm Beach. It was the first night Tom Cruise had hit the red carpet in Cannes in thirty years, the last time being when he starred with Nicole Kidman in Far and Away (1992). It was the premier of Top Gun: Maverick, the sequel to the 1986 Blockbuster, and fans had been waiting in line since nine a.m. for a seven p.m. red-carpet catwalk, waiting on balconies and ladders to get a glimpse of the stars. It was predicted Top Gun: Maverick would gross as much as $390 million in the United States alone.

I’ve been going to the Festival de Cannes for many years, and I had never seen a crowd this size. I was at the foot of the stairs of the Palais, and there were a thousand people, including photographers, behind me. As Tom Cruise entered to work the carpet, it was like the start of the Running of the Bulls. And there was no matador.

I was in front of the barrier, as I had front-row standing, but I felt the crowd pushing forward like a stampede. If this rail breaks, I thought, I’m a goner. It was a panic like I’ve never known.
It was an indescribable force—a loss of control as you all fall like Dominoes.

There was security present, but for the admission purposes, so they were not prepared for something like this. With every second that passed, the situation escalated.
I managed to get back to the Martinez that night and kept thinking about how my
safety was compromised. “I can’t do this again,” I said quietly to myself.

The next day, I was scheduled to shoot on the red carpet for Armageddon Time,
which was starring Julia Roberts wearing a 100-carat yellow diamond from
Chopard.

“Will I be at risk again?” I wondered. “No way.”

So I went online, looked for tickets, and prepared to walk up the red-carpet stairs
and watch the premier in the Palais. As I surfed the net, I came across this
concierge company named Lexo Club, the premier Luxury Concierge & Lifestyle
Management Experts.

I scanned the website and discovered they specialized in hard-to-obtain events
and tickets. I thought, Okay. I will not get smashed like I were at a Coldplay
concert! Let me look into this
.

I sent an inquiry describing my circumstances at around ten p.m. that evening,
and I received a response within two minutes. It was Leo! Leo, my knight in
shining armor who had many clients walking the red carpet that same night,
including the Vanity Fair & Gucci Party at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, where it’s
nearly impossible to gain entry.

I actually had shots of his clients at the red-carpet events and hadn’t even known
it. Granted, I was a complete stranger at the time, and all he knew was that I was
a photographer for a luxury magazine, and yet he treated me with the utmost
kindness and regard. He offered me several solutions right away, which I
appreciated. This was the moment I felt safe again. Leo could book me inside the
premier with a security detail, a private driver, and a helicopter transfer. I was so
taken by his professionalism and mindset. I went online to this link: https://thelexo.club/t
